This thing has really ducked up my internet browsing experience and the overall lag using the keyboard is a little more than a little noticeable.

I know this bad boy is several years old and all. I'm just wondering if Apple found a way to break us out of the habit of holding onto iPads far longer than we do iphone by creating s really poor experience with our tablets unless we are running a more powerful version of their hardware?

Because to be honest, if I can't do something about this, I am going to have to either switch back to my laptop around the house or trade this in for a better experience, as iOS 8 is a huge step backwards in that department.

Did you see my post about rolling back to 7? Last time I read 7 was still up, so if you hurry you can still roll it back.

My daughter's iPhone 5 is all kinds of messed up, slow and glitchy. Rolling back later today.

iPad Mini owner here. Last night, I could not browse the internet through Safari. Opera worked fine.

Wife's iPhone 5s had no issues and we were streaming video just fine.

Simply couldn't get my internet to work through Safari on my iPad.

Why would you upgrade to iOS 8 without reading reviews yet? Especially on an older device.

My 5 and iPad 2 are working perfectly. Browsed TD earlier and streaming WatchESPN right now. Phone update is fine. I had Facebook glitch out once.

My mini has a little lag, but it's nothing too bad. I need to play with it a little more though.

My iPad 2 and iPhone 5 are working well. I actually think the iPad is more responsive.

I have a 5 and its okay, facebook is glitchy but safari is fine. 5c shouldnt be much different. All that will be fixed pretty soon either through app updates or apple update.

Updated my iPad 2 and don't see any lag issues.

But I got a ton of space free... maybe that helps? Only have a few apps on it.

I talked with one of the Mac people at the store in Birmingham when I complained about my iPhone 4 being garbage after I updated to iOS6 (i think). He basically told me not to try to upgrade anything older than a generation with a new iOS. So for iOS8, anything older than a retina iPad and iPhone 5, maybe even a 5s and 5c, will probably just take a dump on you from here on out.
