Fight this hard for his job? I mean, since he is making around 40 million a year, you know he is not going to give up a job like that.

Your thoughts

Amazing he's paid that much.

Owners must LOVE him behind closed doors.

Obviously.

You would do the same thing too, because 40 million dollars a year has to be awesome.

I would fight MUCH harder for my job if I was making $1m/yr vs $44m/yr. He's probably made about $75m after taxes as commish. That's "frick you" money. If he had made ~$3m after taxes, that's "Retire if I want to, but still be cautious about spending" type money.

most resignations are not really achoice

if the owners decide he needs to go theyll tell him he can either get fired or take a huge payment to quit

He's not fighting for his job, he doesn't need to as long as the money is rolling in. The media will move on to the next big thing soon enough.

The next player to hit his wife or girlfriend will be the next big thing.
