I still have yet to decide who I will be voting for in the upcoming Congressional race. Who are you going to be voting for and why?

Hadn't really decided yet, but I know who I won't be voting for, convicted felon Edwin Edwards.

On Tuesday I had lunch at Drusilla with a specialist and Fast Eddie was there with Leo Honeycutt. I was amazed at how many people went over to his table to speak with him and take a picture. Made me sick.

There is zero chance that me or anyone in my family will be voting for Edwards.

There are so many other candidates and I haven't heard a whole lot from most of them. Lenar Witney sent me a mailer but that is about it.

She came to my office about a month ago. We spoke for a few minutes and she seemed nice. Her signs are HEAVILY photoshopped if I say so myself.

I suggested she take her sign down on Stanford that is in front of what looks like an abandoned property since it makes her look trashy. She had it taken down a week later. She seems responsive to the people.

I'm in a seesaw with Paul Claitor and Garrett Graves. Both are good conservatives and good choices. Leaning towards claitor as of today.

Isn't Edwin Edwards almost 90? He could probably recall childhood memories of Huey Long if he wanted to.

He has no business running.

Yes he can and he's got a lot of friends in Baton Rouge. I'd vote for him over some Tea Party twit any day of the week.

Graves is tainted by his association with Jindal. Claitor is his own man.

Anyone like Rufus Craig? I'm considering voting for him in the primary and then anybody but Edwards in the runoff.

Right, I got the names mixed up. I really like Claitor as he's a republican that could win in a lot of places. He's had some really solid votes in the state senate.

I know both Dietzel and Claitor and either would represent us well in Congress. Not sure who I'm voting for yet. But both of them are good men.

Was Jindal's Costal Restoration "czar". He doesn't seem to be as much a Jindal pawn as recent Congressional candidates Neil Riser and Lenar Whitney are.

Personally, I'd prefer Claitor, but if Graves can keep the Jindal hanger-oners off his staff, then he should be good.

Graves is from BR, CHS I think.

He's a policy guy. I worked with him years ago in DC. He was Tauzan's leg director and worked on the energy and commerce Commitee when BT was chair, which was pretty impressive. He also worked for Vitter. Moved back to LA and was in charge of CPRA.

Personally I like him and Claitor
