Dollar shave club shaving butter

I got some of this shaving butter they have. I get razor burn really easy which will cause my neck to break out, so I figured I'd give this a shot to see if it's any better than standard shaving cream. I don't break out bad, but I do every time. Because of this, I'll wait as long as I can to shave. I pretty well never shave more than twice a week. If I do, my neck gets torn to hell and back. I'll be bleeding like it's my time of the month.
I used the shaving butter this morning for the first time. Holy crap, this stuff is good. I didn't put a new blade on my razor, just used this stuff. No irritation, no red, no cuts, nothing but smoothness. My face has never felt this good after shaving.
If any of you guys have sensitive skin like me, you may want to give this stuff a shot.

How much did they pay you to advertise?

I use it too, good stuff.

Well you're whining like a woman, so this is believable.

I haven't looked back since switching to this from other creams / gels. Just make sure you let it sit as directed before you start shaving. Otherwise you may get a tad bit of irritation. I'm impatient so I rushed it once

I'd suggest the reason you break out is that you use the Dollar Shave Club's crap arse razors. They are so bad - and they get worse IMO the more expensive version you get.
I don't like the butter nearly as much as you do, but I do love their butt wipes. In fact, I keep buying their horrible $1 razor version every month and throw them away just so I can max out my "One Wipe Charlie" order.
I also love their business model and how they "have fun" and like to support companies like this.

I actually made the leap to the DSC just over a week ago.
I'm using the $6 monthly razor option and its actually a pretty good blade. I shave my head each week and the DSC blade did an okay job but requires far more strokes than the Fusion ProGlide I have used historically. At less than half the cost its a compromise I'm willing to make.
For my face the DSC blade is perfectly adequate when paired with the Shave Butter. Thus far I'm far more impressed with the Shave Butter than the razors.

to the OP - if you live near a Saks or an upscale mall, you should go to the Kiehl's counter and ask for a sample of this or just outright buy it.
It is hands down the best post-shave lotion ever. All of Kiehl's stuff is bomb.

I have similar problems and have discovered shaving in the shower does wonders for the neck breakout.

Do you typically shave before or after you shower?

I'm running low on shaving cream, just ordered some and will give it a try

butter stays on your fingers more than your face.

I like the shave butter.

I use the Shave Butter and Cream-o Cream, which you can buy at Wal Mart.
Both are really good products.
I suspect the Shave Butter might actually be repackaged hair conditioner... but that shite works great as a shave cream in a pinch.
I think I like Cream-o better because it reacts better with water, and it smells really good.
Give either a shot.

I will check this out.
I've never used the DSC blades. I had a coworker order this for me and paid him for it.
Always shave after I shower. If I shaved before I showered, you'd think I cut my jugular.

Dillards carries Kiehl's as well. And yes, it is good stuff.
