My fiance and I are looking at having our wedding at either Chicot State Park or Lake Fausse Point State Park. Any suggestions or recommendations for either?

Palmetto Park in Vermilion if you don't mind wild bears and hogs.

Louisiana State arboretum is 1/2 mile from Chicot.
You could rent cabins or camp at the state park.
The arboretum would be beautiful for a wedding

My wife and I were married on a huge dock over looking Toledo Bend three years ago. It was perfect. Much better than a traditional wedding. Especially if you live for the outdoors like my family. It will be a little more for Toledo, but it's worth it!

I'd go with Chicot. New accommodations there are amazing.

Chicot is really nice and big.

Fontainebleau would be a really good option, although I think their cabins are atill closed due to Isaac.
