For all season ticket holders you should have gotten your email to renew today.

Did they jack up prices for parking? My bullpen pass was 200 last year, it says 250 now?? I'm assuming I didn't get a better pass as its just a renewal from what i had last year.

I mean, 25% increase?

Still pretty cheap for 30+ games. If it's a big problem, I'll take the tickets and pp off your hands.

The proposal calls for increases to the Tradition Fund, a surcharge on prime season tickets, for more than 50,000 2014 football ticket packages and for tickets and parking for the 2015 baseball season.

This would be the first price increase for baseball since 2009.

so does that mean single game tickets will go from like 10$ a ticket to 12$ a ticket?

Its just principle. When we flame out to a commuter school at home in the regionals I don't expect prices to rise, but i guess this was set in stone long before that according to the link.

I'm mean im gonna pay, but dammit im gonna bitch too

Principle. Its not the 50 bucks. Its the fact that its 25% increase. I have football tickets too, so I guess its just seeing that every increasing amount I spend on LSU sports.

Alleva would not specifically decribe how the budget was short. But he said, generally, the department’s costs continue to rise, such as travel expenses and what it pays coaches in salaries and benefits, which could lead to a shortfall.

Board member Stephen Perry questioned why Alleva was asking for a price increase when the SEC Network is expected to start broadcasting in August 2014. LSU stands to make extra revenue from that deal.

Alleva said he “has no idea” how much money the network will bring LSU

Calling total bullshite on that one. Im sure there is a minimum guaranteed from the deal. More likely it is a set amount like 200m per year for ten years ( totally just making up numbers)

Since there hasn't been a price increase for parking since 2009, it actually comes to about 5%/year since the last increase.

My tickets in right field don't have the $50 per ticket tradition fee anymore!

I also decided to put in for a parking pass but I doubt I'll get it since I have 0 priority points
