Congressman Jason Chaffetz broke this shocking news Wednesday that four known terrorists were apprehended at the US border in Texas on September 10 – the day before the 13th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks.
Chaffetz questioned Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson on whether he is “aware of any apprehensions of suspected or known terrorists.”
Johnson dodged the question.

Good thing we caught all four of them

I don't believe this.
What are their names, backgrounds, and ties to terrorist organizations?
I doubt I would believe any government official if they gave me a straight answer to those questions though.

Hey, Democrats, if an Islamic Terrorist sneaks across the border and kills some innocent kids, will it be Bush's fault?

I'm glad the teabag congressman caught them and all of the obscure conservative news outlets are reporting this! That was a close one! Should definitely help his polling numbers!

Need something more credible. But even based on the story and accepting it all it sounds as if they tried to cross through border stations legally or fraudulently and were apprehended. This could have occurred on the Canadian border. Good thing it occurred on our most heavily regulated and patrolled border, though I doubt it happened as provided.

It will be interesting to see if this information is accurate, or even partially accurate, in the days ahead. I have no doubt that Chaffetz himself believes it, nor do I question his character. But we have seen him get all excited about some "information" on several occasions , only to have that information be inaccurate or incomplete. A good guy overall, but he sure loves to be that guy who is always breaking some news
Either way, this is why Jason is not on the House Select Committee on Benghazi, despite being one of the best-informed on that topic and one of the most aggressive questioners throughout the hearings.
He loves the cameras and has a tendency to jump the gun sometimes without verifying his information. He would do well to follow the lead of Jim Jordan and Trey Gowdy, both of whom are equally aggressive but far less flamboyant and far less "quick on the draw".
It was Jason who began the entire "stand down" controversy regarding the 4-man military team in Tripoli when he took Greg Hicks' words in his public testimony and changed them and Hicks never corrected the use of the term, thus leading to an artificial controversy that in the end distracted from the real issues. Chaffetz likely didn't deliberately set out to do that, but he can be a loose cannon and I think Gowdy likes Chaffetz and appreciates his hard work, but was glad that he was left off the Committee.

Controversy? Didn't they come out just a few days ago and confirm they were told to stand down?

If you read more of the entire sentence "It was Jason who began the entire "stand down" controversy regarding the 4-man military team in Tripoli ", you will see that I was making reference to what had been the major controversy involving the guys in Tripoli.

This either proves one of two things: That there are many terrorists coming across and a lot got through and we only caught 4.....or that we caught all 4 and that shows we have good intelligence and can secure the border, but choose not to with illegal mexican immigrants.
I wonder which it is

Exactly. But who can turn down a good blow-job from Megan Kelly?
