sorry if germans (i searched and found nothing) but on the 22yard fullback dive touchdown play, did anyone else see AJ get out in front of darrelle williams and give him a block to get in the endzone?

thats a new one for me. never seen a QB get in front of a dive play and block. gotta love it.

JJ used to throw blocks like a mofo. Wasn't a very good QB, but definitely wasn't afraid of contact.

It was a nice block in the back no call.

One of the main reasons he's earned his frequency on the field.

Basically, he has enough CHEST to lead this football team.

I saw AJ nearly cost LSU a TD with a meaningless block in the back in the endzone.

Actually my reaction to that was

"Damn he got away with an obvious and pointless block in the back"

But yea good hustle

LSU has a black kicker and a white starting WR. This is Les Miles world and we all belong to him.

AJ hustled past LF to get to the kid he hit. While it was wrong technically, his heart was in the right place.

He did and wasn't too bad at it. I was talking to this gump today at the gas station who just happens to be Courtney Upshaw's cousin - his truck was decked out in gump attire - anyway, we were talking about the play where JJ lobbed the ball accidentally to Upshaw. This guy literally said "I think we lose to LSU this year, but LSU won't beat Saban with Miles at the helm" wtf

Isn't "Dumbass gump" redundant?

That is true. Anyone remember the middle pitch where the qb would block the back side of the play if necessary? It was always funny watching Lee attempt to block vs. Jefferson.

I saw that, i think. There was one play where I was afraid he was going to be called for blocking in the back.

Great Hustle by a qb.
