I'm having trouble copying / pasting images since upgrading to iOS 8

Am I doing something wrong?
I double tap in the dialog box after I "copy" the image as usual and nothing.

They don't want you to do anything with pictures

There is a copy/paste bug in iOS 8

It's weird. I can copy and paste anywhere except Safari.
