Orioles actually win something!

First division title since 1997, which was the first one since 1983. I honestly can't believe it. This is just a wonderful, beautiful team. Everything went wrong, and three of the team's best players are currently out, yet they are the team to break the drought.

It was a long tough slog through the 2000s, 2012 was a tease, a taste... It's time, I feel like there is something special with this team, despite the I jury's and suspensions, they keep on trucking.
I used to hope this would happen and Angelo's would be gone, but frick it.

My best friend from back home was at the game. He recorded the entire final inning on his phone, posted the whole video, tagged me on facebook with a Wish You Were Here message. We've been to a lot of games together growing up, and I was genuinely touched he did that for me.
I wasn't there, but he made it as close as possible to being there.

2012 was wonderful, but everyone knew it was a fluke, even O's fans. That team was like a billion and oh in close games. Clock struck midnight, but it was cool just to be at the ball for a little bit.
