With the Ray Rice issue and now the Adrian Peterson situation the nfl is now loosing BIG SPONSORS!! Radison hotels, Nike that has to do w/AP, AP's own charitable foundation, and get this anheuser Busch!!

I thinks it's a good thing, these people being exposed for being punks that they are!!

Honestly, no one gives a shite. it sucks, but that's what the real deal is. THe majority of people don't care.

The NFL is literally going to lose nothing over this situation, people will still watch and go to games and advertise just like always.

I hear they can't get people to buy commercial time for the Super Bowl.

If anything, it'll teach Goodell/his successor not to sweep shite under the rug all the time.

This is all the ploy to change the Redskins name. If they can't get the owner to do it, they will burn the whole thing down to start over.

People can be offended all they want but the NFL is still going to make millions of dollars in ticket sales, apparel sales, broadcasting revenue. The ratings for all NFL games will be comparable to last year. Fantasy Football is still going to be dominating topics at the office.

To think that the NFL is going anywhere is asinine.

Entirely too much money is spent convincing people that their self-worth is tied to the accomplishments of a group of lug-head mercenaries who happen to ply their craft in the same city.

I enjoy sports as a pastime like everybody else but when you think about how stupid it is to get really worked up over it (unless you are related to someone directly involved) then it can be embarrassing to care about it so much.

It's just a publicity ploy by the advertisers to appear to be concerned. They will be back on board within 2 months.
