Any sport. Do you think officials use make up calls after making a particularly bad call. For instance they miss a blatant drive extending PI on one drive then call an invisible drive killing hold on the other team. Maybe they call an awful 3rd strike for one batter and let another walk on some strikes.

Do officials consciously?

Yes, it happens in football all the time.

A questionable PI call on 3rd and long, followed by a phantom holding call on 1st and 10.

I don't think it's a debate. There have been studies done.

I'm sure after they make a horrible PI/holding call.

They pay closer attention to any tiny mistake the team makes so they can call it, I forgot the game, but after a big 50 yard PI call that the player tripped. They called holding 2 plays later and it wasn't even close.

LSU/UGA in 2009. Two absurd celebration penalties in a row.

I personally am not. 2 bad calls doesn't make a right call. It is what it is though.

I think the NBA is most guilty of this. I mean you often see an offensive foul followed up by a travel on the opposing team on the next possession

I notice it all the time in basketball. Refs are human, things like that will happen.

ETA: Not okay with it per se, but I accept it for what it is. As long as there are humans calling games, there will be unconscious biases like make-up calls.

Yep. If I gripe about a call to a ref and he nods his head yes I generally get a call my way pretty quickly. A lot of times in basketball you get one ref that makes all the calls and the other swallows his whistle.
