The same folks are predicting our net deficit to be LOWER in 2024 than it was last year.

So I'm not too worried. Someone must have done some math somewhere and figured this out.

Sounds about right. My insurance premiums between 1999 and 2010 increased 350%

ACA is like getting cable, sat, or u-verse. It's inexpensive at first then BOOM!

You are not worried because you are blissfully ignorant!

Or maybe because he understands that there is a lot more to the economics at play than a single metric. ACA isn't great, but anything is better than the absolute mess that our healthcare system had become.

So Obamacare is already a failure at controlling inflationary healthcare spending.

Fair point, although the likelihood that it applies to Tuba approaches zero with quickness.

Is that the "metric" upon which we base our judgment of a bill costing the government in the trillions yet still raises premiums?

GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY TUBA!

Seriously?

Are you aware WHAT OUR DEFICIT WAS last year?

Do you have any idea as to what our Debt will be as a % of GDP if your "not-too-worried" scenario occurs?

The fact you're "not worried" is breathtaking.

The ACA just magnifies "the system we had before." Most liberals I know don't care for it. Die hard Dems love it.

And I am predicting my fat arse will be 100 lbs lighter in 10 years as well.

Odds of me finding something new and unhealthy to stuff my face full of during that time is extremely high.
