Honestly this is the right decision. He isnt guilty of anything yet. We have due process for a reason.

Who is downvoting me? Al lhe did is discipline his child. What's happening to him is a joke. I couldn't care less that he will now more than likely run all over us this weekend.

I agree with your statement, but I'm not sure why what he did is "better" than what Ray Rice did or what Michael Vick did. I feel like our society needs to evolve on this issue. We treat dogs better than human children (ie: Mike Vick, Centerplate CEO, etc).

Rice hit an adult
Rice was intoxicated

AP hit a FOUR YEAR OLD
AP indicated that his is par for the course

This
Plus, although the way he hit his kid was wrong, he didn't do it in a malicious disgusting way like with typical child abuse. Even if he wasn't a famous athlete I think I would rather he gets counseling to learn why what he did is wrong, and learn better, safer, and more effective ways to discipline his children rather than he get arrested.

Getting arrested isn't going to change his views on discipline techniques, counseling may actually help him and his children

The NFL / Vikings have clearly said that he's less evil than Ray Rice with their responses so far.

I totally agree. What makes it murky is that he actually admitted to everything and there are pictures. But I don't have a problem with the vikings letting due process run its course. He hasn't been convicted of anything.

None of what the owner said matters, if the NFL suspends him for 6 games. He was indicted so there was enough evidence for him to be arrested. Goodell won't drop the ball twice on the domestic violence issue.

Cold cocking a woman is worse than disciplining a child. I don't even see how it's debateable.
