It seemed like he was in on just about every tackle and even special teams tackles. I think they said he was a transfer from Oklahoma but that guy could play for any team in the SEC.

I don't think he was a transfer.

ULM's defense is pretty nasty to be honest

You are right I looked him up and he is from Tulsa but did not attend Oklahoma U. His bio says he was the #1 D linemen in Oklahoma his senior year. Wonder why he didn't end up at a bigger school.

I know it was Wake. but ULM sacked them 7 times and gave up -3 yards rushing. Pretty salty front seven.

The ULM defense was very respectable and will give them a chance to continue to win games. I was particularly impressed with their secondary's ability to tackle.

I said it before the game to some friends...this will be one of the best 5 defenses we face all year (scheduled reg season)...obviously behind UF, Bama, and Ole Miss. But after that...their scheme, past 5 years of production under Reffett, and stats this year tell me our game plan was created with their aggressive style in mind and executed quite well.

Could have used better blocking in the middle at center and less drops from the WR's early on...but other than that. 200 rush yds on this team was a great turnout

ULM defense came to play. They looked great until they wore out from lack of depth.

Their offense doing nothing didn't help either.

Hope LSU learned something this week as we enter SEC play.
