Where's the defensive line?

I recognize that Patrick Robinson is an abomination out there, but I think most realistic fans expected a big drop off out of our 2nd CB. But, we also expected a dominant front 4 that would cover for Robinson.
Pressure has been literally non-existent in the first two games. I don't understand it. The lone sack yesterday was a coverage sack where Galette caught Hoyer from behind. There has been no disruption at all from our defensive front. It's pathetic. Until that changes, you will not see our defense change.

That's been the biggest disappointment. I think our DBs playing soft zone allowing WRs to run free enables the QB to move around and avoid the pass rush a little more(when receivers aren't being covered you can take your eyes off of them) and makes it harder to get a sack. Our Dline wasn't that great overall on the road last year either.

We were hitting the QB all day yesterday

I have to say that I am shocked at how non existent the D line has been so far.

The defensive play calling is bad. The D line is bad. The linebackers are bad. The CBs are bad. And our safties are playing fifty yards off the line of scrimmage. It's all bad.

honestly, I'd like to see those stats. I didn't see that at all.

It's definitely been an issue so far, but they'll probably look a lot better back at home when they get that extra split-second jump on the o-linemen because of the crowd noise.

I was really drunk, but I remember a lot of bad throws due to pressure
Browns have a solid oline too. That shite sucked yesterday

We had 9 hurries and 6 hits on the QB yesterday. 2 batted balls and a sack. That isn't bad. Better than SEA in week 1
We had 18 hurries in week 1 but 0 hits in the QB
I thought that the CLE defense was all over Brees. 6 QB hurries, 5 hits
Cam Jordan had a great game.

This.
It's sad, really. I don't think anyone would have expected our front 4 to be such a nonfactor in our first two games. This is coming off of a season of being extremely productive, in the same system, playing against the same talent, etc...
The good news is our line has been previously productive, and I do believe they can get back to their dominant ways. We know they have the potential to, at least. That's also the reason it's so frustrating to watch them.
P-Rob is definitely playing like shite, so please no one think I'm advocating to keep him on the field, but I don't care who you are... Dion Sanders would have a tough time covering an NFL WR for 8-10 secs. P-Rob has been terrible, but it all starts up front. Junior, Cam, Akiem, and Brodrick need to play better. Plain and simple.
