Duck/Goose lease South West Louisiana

Hope everyone had a good opening weekend of teal season. We had them down in Cameron, LA. I have a friend of mine and his dad that are looking to lease a marsh or rice field blind. I know season is near and there wont be much available, but they will be looking for a future spot as well. They currently hunt a sub-lease in Johnson Bayou that they have no guarantees on. Any info would be greatly appreciated, fellas.

You're going to have a really hard time finding something right now that is worth a damn.

His name is Doug Sonnier. I've been leasing a blind from him for seven years and we do extremely well.

Other poster is correct, it's Doug Sonnier and he leases then subleases blinds all over southwest la
last straw was when we showed up to our blind to hunt and have no water....called doug and he said levess are our responsibility

8 guns produced 4 birds. Field had been flooded just days prior and not sufficiently at that. Farm equipment everywhere on the levee. Had one flock close enough to get shots off.
They went back yesterday and never fired a shot.
Doug's Hunting Lodge did take my niece's boyfriend and 2 others out Saturday and limited by 8 am by boat somewhere.
