True Detective replay on HBO tonight

The first episode of TD is showing on HBO tonight at 9. I think they are going to show every episode on Sunday for the next 8 weeks. I'm sure everyone has seen it, but just a heads up for those who want to re-watch it.

I thought the show was incredibly slow until the episode with the shoot-out at the house. I will enjoy these episodes a lot more knowing that it was a slow burn.

This. Although I thought after that it slowed down again until the finale. I'm in the minority thinking it was only good and not great. Yes McConaughey did a great job with his character, but for some reason the show still moved at a slow pace for me and kept me. If it were longer than 8 episodes I may have stopped watching. It kept me interested enough to see what they do the next go round.
