Finally got around to watching it. Really good movie. Greatly improved from the first.

The fighting was extremely well done.

The story also makes you think about the world we live in, which makes it even better.

Liked it but didn't love it. It got a lot of hype but having Bucky come back was horrible.

Really? The Winter Soldier is one of the bigger CA characters. That is a terrible complaint.

It has a great political theme which is the gov't is not trustworthy and always should be questioned. Cap won't be working for the gov't in the 3rd movie I imagine.

Being that I don't read the CA comics I wouldn't know that. I just didn't care for it. I just found the story weak. I much preferred CA 1.

You may be literally the only person that feels that way.

*Who did Agent Sitwell name that hydra feared?
Bruce Banner
Dr. Strange
Moon Knight?

Who was the valedictorian from Iowa city?

Speculation is that the Iowa valedictorian is izzy dare, or smasher. She was added to the avengers comic line up in late 2012 I think.

At the end, who was the bad guy? Was that Quicksilver abd Scarlet Witch? I'm off to google it also.

The valedictorian from Iowa city may be Amadeus Cho.

Never mind, sounds like Izzy Dare.

While I also found it good (ok, very good) but not great category, I can't disagree more about the Bucky story. I thought they did an excellent job on that story-line.

I thought the Widow/Cap friendship scenes were a little forced. And Redford kind of took me out of the suspension of disbelief some - felt kind of like a gimmick casting. And the whole "gotta take down all three "ships" also seemed a little too convenient.

But the plot was tight. The action scenes were good, the Falcon storyline was acceptable and I liked the "don't trade freedom for security" message.

I really enjoyed it for the most part. I'm a big fan of Robert Redford's, so it was great to see him play the role he did.

My only problem with it was Falcon. The character was a throwaway if there ever was one.

Same for me. For me its simply bc CA is not that interesting. Not a lot of humor, tame powers, uninteresting villains. It was the 5th or 6th best movie of the year for me.

Really good movie.

Agree, totally blew Amazing Spider Man 2 away. How can one Marvel movie be so good and one so bad.

That's becuase Amazing Spider Man 2 was a Sony product. Marvel has pretty much hit on every recent movie they have put out. With the exception of Iron Man 3 which was the first movie in a decade that I walked out of.
