I have to take a few people to dinner in or around Madisonville tomorrow night.

What are a couple of nice restaurants in the area?

Keith Young's Steak House, Water Street Bistro or take the short drive to downtown Covington to Ox Lot 9 or Del Porto.

Keith Young's. Water st. Is good but can be inconsistent.

ETA: Keith's is closed on Monday. I'd bet water st is too.

Go to Gallagher's Grill in covington. It's right up the Highway.

Gallaghers is the best restaurant on the northshore IMO. It's def closed on Monday.

Nothing of quality in Madisonville is open on Monday. The Crabby Shack is open and has great food, but it sounds like it won't fit your bill. Places I've confirmed that are closed on Monday:
Keith Young's
Gallagher's
Water Street Bistro
Impastato's
Bosco's Terra Bella

You may very well have to venture into downtown Covington. I'm still searching because my curiosity is now peaked on this.

ETA: Morton's is open Monday night. It is pretty good if you're confined to the Madisonville area.

I hope you made it through your supper last night in Madisonville, wherever it ended up taking place.

9-15-14 is a day that will live in Food Board infamy, the day that an OP left his thread asking for dinner recommendations only to not return and update the masses that recommended places to eat.

No way he ate in Madisonville on Monday night, but it seems there's no way we will ever know for sure.
