So, there was the one close game against La Tech in 2009. Tigers won that one 24-16. But outside that one, I think all the games vs in state schools have been lopsided for past couple of decades.

Continue these?
Play La Tech more regularly?

The other two times we've played them in the last 12 years we beat them 49-10 and 58-10.

They aren't very good right now.

ULL is a solid mid major program. Tulane is getting better. The in state games will never be consistently competitive, but they are fun for the state and LSU is going to schedule a rent a win or two anyway. Might as well write the check to another LA program.

LA Tech just demolished (48-20) that "solid" ULL team two weeks ago in Lafayette, and looked pretty good in a win (42-21) against a North Texas team predicted to win their Conference USA division on the road.

I remember after that terrible LA Tech game in 2009 where Lee spot started a Tech fan called into the postgame show talking about how it was a great game, Tech was on the rise, and he hoped this game would spark a rivalry between the two schools. Hanagriff just teed off on him and ranted for several minutes on how absurd that call was. It was epic.
