A six episode series from England. In the beginning you sort of think the plot is a rip off from Fargo. But the series is far from that.

It's very dark and brutal, and it follows a British policewoman going after a released con who had raped her daughter AND who has become involved in a haphazard kidnapping plot.

I'm finishing the sixth episode today. Some of you should give it watch.

Thanks for suggesting, I will check it out.

If you like crime drama, Underbelly is a mini series I have recommended before. Aussie crime series on Netflix based on true events.

Definitely bookmarked to checkout.

Is this Underbelly show available on Netflix or Prime?

I haven't watched it yet, but based on the description, if you liked Happy Valley, you'll probably like The Fall. Scully from the XFiles plays an Irish detective chasing down a serial killer. It's also a short 5 episode season. It's been awhile since I've seen it, so I'd imagine season 2 should be coming soon enough.

I loved Happy Valley.
The Brits excel at these types of shows.

Three episodes behind me... this is outstanding television.

I'm confused as to whether this is an actual Netflix- produced original. If so, they are still batting a thousand.

Yes... just finished the fourth. I really like it, and I'm a very particular fellow.
