LSU is off to a poor start in the TUba Top 101.

Surrounded by the team coached by the guy everyone has hated even longer than Nick Saban - and Central Michigan - LSU starts off the TUba Top 101 at #17 - a far cry from the #1 that all True Tiger Fans know the TIgers to be capable of.

If you want any legitimacy in the first ~6 weeks of the poll, you've got to consider preseason rankings and perspective, or don't make a poll at all until wee 7.

Preseason rankings aren't possible without games played. And you can't cut teams out based on their division without cutting games out of included divisions as there is interdivisional play at all levels.
