What is the best crop to plant for shady areas. I have an open area I want to plant but it's pretty shaded and doesn't get much sun. What y'all got?

For deer obviously.

Plotspike makes a shade blend. Not sure what's in it, or how well it works. May be worth looking into.

Rye grass does well in shade
But then again, you could spend a lot of money on some other fancy stuff...
