I've got Dalton and Big Ben on my roster, but thinking about picking up Locker against Dallas this week. If I do, I'll have to drop Dalton.

I know lots of people stream kickers and defenses. Anyone stream QBs?

I'm a huge fan of streaming QBs, used it the last two years with great success. I generally don't pick a QB until around my last non-D non-K pick. The thing to keep in mind with this strategy is you don't necessarily plan to beat your opponent at QB - rather you want to either stay the pace or just lose by a few points at the position.

I'm starting Dalton this week in a league, and I personally would start him over Locker. But one of the keys to streaming QBs is the running QB. Most scoring systems reward runs with 10-points per yard and 6-points per TD. Locker is relatively decent on the run, so if you feel that he'll be making runs then by all means go with him.

I'm huge on Geno this year for the running reason. He really picked up his running the last few games of last year and has continued with that.

Actually the more I think about it the more Locker may be a great play - Caepernick effortlessly put up solid stats on only a few pass attempts last week and I think the Titans have some really solid receiving options.

For what it's worth I think Locker has the higher ceiling and if you're streaming you may as well go with the guy who could post huge numbers. Comes down to your risk aversion. Dalton is a more sure thing but Locker could really beast out.

Yeah, I'm pretty torn on picking him up or not. It might be a coin flip between the two for this week, but Dalton might be a better longer term QB. It really just depends on how confident I am in streaming QBs all week. It seems outside of the top tier QBs, there are lots of viable options each week.

I don't find anything wrong with streaming QBs, but I've always felt if I have the opportunity to grab either Manning, Rodgers, or Brees in the second round, I will. What those guys can give you is pretty constant (outside of Rodgers against Seattle).

I'm streaming in both of my leagues. In one league I have Rivers and Locker, in the other league I have Big Ben and Dalton. I didn't really go into this season with the intention of streaming, but that's just the way my drafts fell.

Last season Dalton was actually the 3rd highest scoring qb in the league that I have him in, and Rivers was 4th in my other. I'm starting Dalton and Locker this week, though.
