Best bet is around walk ons or the hay field lots by the baseball stadium.

I've parked down by tiger land on the side of the road before. Long walk but it also didn't take long to get out

Others can chime in, but I think he'd still be ok at that time but Im not sure... otherwise park alongside Burbank in the shoulders is another option (might be a bit of a walk but its free). You need to look at traffic flow after the game. Its all contraflow and he might not be able to go the way he wants to.

edit: nm if he's going to walkons he should just park way down there somewhere even at walkons and walk to and from.

If approach from Acadian south bound then turn toward campus at south stadium dr around the lakes there is a sign directing to free parking right after that. I think this goes to Parker Col. lot.

No longer an option. Nicholson and Burbank shoulders are closed for parking and the area is policed to make sure it stays clear.

Yeah he'll get towed for parking anywhere along Nicholson now don't do that. There are signs everywhere.

I found a free parking spot, along with a bunch others, about an hour before the game last week.
It was no more than a 5 minute walk to the stadium.

In the parking map you posted, the areas in dark blue labeled as public parking are free to park in?

Yes, however those lots are never a guarantee if you come anytime in the afternoon

Right, I thought it was still free. We get out really early and we use to park on Nicholson and use the old front nine before we moved to lot 106.
Last week when we passed old front nine, someone in the truck thought the front nine had been turned in to pay areas along with the banning of parking on Nicholson.

I used to park in between the LSU lakes. Long walk, but easy exit to the highway.

Front nine last week was full by 1. Can't wait to see the cluster Bama brings.

The Manassas Virginia Railway Express lots if you are a city resident. Otherwise, you have to purchase a parking tag from city hall.
