Torchy's Tacos
Stubb's BBQ
Pinthouse Pizza
Hopdoddy
Dolce Neve for gelato.. seriously amazing gelato.

Hell, there are SOOO many awesome places in Austin. Lots of food trucks, too. You can go just about anywhere and get a good meal.

What you in the mood for?

I usually hit up Guero's and Kirby Lane when I'm there. Tons of great food options in that city.

If you are in the mood for a quick sandwich go to salt and time. By far the best fricking cuban sandwich I've had. This restaurant/meat shop hasn't quite caught on yet in austin.

If you want to wake up at 5am and "tailgate" until 11a on a saturday for some amazing bbq go to franklin. If not go to Stiles Switch.

For Breakfast tacos hit up torchys taco deli and Amaya in that order.

Top dollar places have been hit by RummelTiger

Wife and I really enjoyed these places that were light on the wallet

East Side King
G'Raj mahal
Torchy's

Home slice for late night food. Is as advertised.

Counter Cafe (food wasn't overly impressive but would be great by BR standards. Cool place and setup. Very narrow. You're right there with the cooks)

Dessert: Gordoughs
