Watched the all22 film last night. He just looks slow. It's almost like he's afraid to get hit.

He just loves the contact.

He just has really bad vision.
I don't know how you correct that though.

Fournette would have scored on those.

Fournette would have ran backwards to the 1 just so he could run 99 yards on the next play

I'm laughing out loud at the fact that the Colts gave away a first round pick for him.

Yeah, his vision is not great, but it seems like his main problem is that he just isnt fast enough from the hand off point. Its night and day difference from when he gets the handoff compared to when Bradshaw gets the handoff.

I know. I'm late to the party.

quote:It was very noticeable to me when watching the film. He's not quick to get anywhere. Get him in the open field, he can break a tackle (just barely), but as for shaking someone, running away from someone, or hitting the hole with speed and decisiveness, forget about it. He has the vision and speed of a fullback.

I'm honestly surprised by how bad he is. I really thought he'd be better.

No, but he also has a high % of his carries against 8 and 9 man boxes. I want to say he's top 5 in the NFL along with Ingram.
