Technical Differences between Tech 21 Smart Phone Cases

After getting some advice from the Tech board to consider Tech 21 for a protective, slim-fitted phone case, I discovered they have alot of options and it was a little difficult to determine the actual differences.
So, I'm going to share my research with the board to hopefully save you some time if you consider buying a Tech 21 case in the future.
There seems to be 5 that are basically the same case besides a few cosmetic choices.
Band - Standard outside protection ring, but has removeable back plate.
Frame - Same as band but has permanent frosted back plate.
Mesh - Same as Frame but has an interior mesh pattern lining inside of clear back plate.
Maze - Same as Frame but has an interior maze pattern lining inside of clear back plate.
Shell - Same as Band and Frame, but back is not see-through.
The Trio looks to be the updated and imprpved version of the original design and has some extra protection on the backing.
The Patrol looks to be the regular case with a removable and optional otter-box like covering included.

It looks like the Mesh, Maze, and Shell are basically the same. I have a G2 and there was only one case available which was the Impact Shell. I have the Smokey color and it's a little trans parent. If you're looking for a TPU case, this is the one to get.

Hey,I have a g2..how is the grip while holding it in your hand...is it slippery or more sticky and have a good grip to it?

Mesh, Maze and Frame all have the same clear backing. Whereas the Shell is non-see-through.
Mesh/Maze just puts some fabric with a pattern on the inside instead of just phone to hard plastic contact.

It is a little slick but nowhere near as bad as the Incipio SlimArmor case. Don't think it's ever fallen out of my hands though. If there were ridges on the side it would be a lot better.
