Redemptorist played Patterson on ESPN and two LSU beasts faced off against each other.
Hill 35 carries for 288 yds (8+ ypc)
Hilliard had 126yds on 20 something carries (5+ ypc)
I remember watching this game too pumped up about seeing them both in P&G. I think the final score was like 34-32 Patterson.

ETA: Stats.

will we have this same thread in 3 years talking about Fournette vs. Dupre in the St. Aug/John Curtis classic that was on ESPN last season?

I get where you're going with 2 future LSU players, and with all due respect to Chi, but I felt like that was Fournette vs Kenny Young. especially given the RB vs LB. really wish we'd gotten that kid.

Not trying to be too specific, but the 34-32 score you mentioned was in the State quarter finals which was won by Patterson. I thought I had remembered Redemptorist and Patterson meeting in the playoffs...They also met on 9-10-2010 with Redemptorist winning 28-13...the game was at Patterson...just saying.

For the old times, Gary James against Dalton Hilliard in a game one time. The running stats were crazy, and if was a very high scoring game.

We had to read about it in the paper though lol.

Yeah OP has his games mixed up.

And Parkview always beat both of them.

Never happened. You are thinking of West Jeff versus Ehret.
