If the Big Ben rape deal happened today, would reaction be the same as Rice?

A big part of what has fueled the Rice thing is social media and the chain reaction of outrage it can produce. The Big Ben thing happenened a little before the social media explosion and was pretty much swept under the rug.

I agree, the video evidence magnifies it by 1000. That panthers defender beat his GF and threatened to kill her during the offseason and he didn't get any real punishment from the NFL. NFL only cares of it will affect their pocketbook, if it isn't on tape the pedestrian fan does not care.

There was no physical evidence in that case, and DTF Girl didn't cooperate with the police. It was basically a "her friends said" story.

This. And to others who said that the video was the real catalyst are spot on. This shite is older than last week's pizza, but the outrage is fresh. Bitches (male and female) and their social media will be the end of us all.
