In light of this really bad run of PR, Goodell has to be itching to make some moves. Where do they go from here?

I think he's going to mandate the hiring of more women in the NFL offices and have like a female Rooney Rule for the NFL franchises.

Of all the post that's come to light on this. This one. This one right here is the dumbest. And that's saying a lot.

it will be something pro minority, but cant be women, will look forced.

My guess is either revamp the redskins controversy...or do something about too many white owners, gms, etc.

Goodell will push a team to make her a first round draft pick, then adjust the rules so she breaks Eric Dickerson's rushing record in her first year.

You don't think the NFL is going to do something reactionary as a result of this black eye on the league?

We'll never be rid of those damned pink uniforms now. The Susan Komen foundation basically strong arms corporations into forced contributions now. If the NFL backs out of its uniform agreement now they would be castigated, "The NFL hates women!" So we're stuck with that PC horseshite.*

*For the record, the Komen foundation is in the running for one of the absolute worst NPOs. Almost none of their funds actually go to cancer research.

Is there a battered women's group on par with Komen? The NFL is ripe for the picking right now for them to come in and strong arm for piece of that NFL pie.

If you don't think that Goodell and the NFL haven't organized some sort of Crisis Management Team to respond to this huge public backlash, you don't understand how the NFL works. The feminazis aren't driving this huge public response; it is millions of ordinary Americans who are sickened by what Rice did, and how Goodell used his power to protect the interests of an NFL owner over the interests of justice.

Since there are billions of dollars in play, you know that the NFL is cooking up something. Right now they are on the back foot releasing statements every hour about how they didn't see the video etc. But some big reactionary PR move is coming. Can't wait to laugh at it.
