I don't put too much stock into them and don't start my players based on their projected scores but Jesus... I was projected to score 160 something and my opponent was supposed to score around 100.

Final score was 137.5 to 110 him. Damn Shaun Hill, Victor Cruz, Keenan Allen, Lesean McCoy and the rest of my underachievers.

Sounds like you put too much stock into the projections

The most important thing about week one is that you notice some positive signs. Shady is fine, don't worry about him. The Giants always start out bad and tun it on as the season goes on. The Chargers were playing against a great secondary. How did your bench perform?

I blame you for being in a position to have to start Shaun Hill in week 1.

Shady had over 100 total yards, if he had found the endzone it would have been a great game, how did he underachieve?

ESPN projections

I always wonder where they get their shite from..

Was "projected" to score 160+ and ended up with around 100

Because the statistical predictions have to apply to all leagues and all scoring systems, they have to predict a specific number of catches, yards, and TD. Predicting TD is impossible. If you have four players who are all predicted for a very reasonable one TD each and none of them score, that's 24 points shaved off immediately, just as an example.
