I heard him on the radio say that they will never rush that poorly again, but words are just words.

Robinson should go way before White. White has gotten better each year while Robinson might have actually gotten worse.

Yes, him and his kind have literally blamed every single Keenan Lewis screw up on White.

not sure who is worse in this thread you for being factually inaccurate, or Laborne for being an idiot.

factually inaccurate for saying white isn't a very good CB? I'm not blaming all of sunday's disaster on him, but white didn't look good in the preseason or on sunday. I give lewis the benefit of the doubt because of his body of work, white doesn't get that

He got beat against the Titans a few times. Overall, his preseason performance was solid.

Gave up 1 catch in 41 snaps vs. St. Louis

Gave up 1 in 38 snaps vs. the Colts.

I don't think anyone thinks he's a great player, but we played just fine with him as our #2 last year. He was solid as our #3

"Is there anyone in the NFL who can shut down Julio Jones 1-1 without a pass rush?"

about 300 yards went to other receivers

I'm not a huge White fan but our entire d looked bad Sunday and he definitely didn't look as bad as some of the others.

Yea, he sucked dick.

I don't know why Rob Ryan didn't shadow Golden Tate with Keenan Lewis. No one ever thought he was good enough to cover Tate.

I still think he's a good #3 corner, but he's getting worse every game now while our D has been playing better around him.

And this was still a stupid thread after the Atl game.

no...no it wasn't.

Corey White isn't a good CB and he never was. I wasn't blaming him for the loss that day but the people who continue to defend him and pretend they're more knowledgeable because of it are jackasses.

Everything is relative. I'm afraid he's the 2nd best corner we have. Says more about the rest than him. I still like his skillset. He's long and rangy (nohomo) and he's capable of being a solid #3 guy if surrounded by good players and an above-average pass rush--we have none of those things.

I can't blame White for failing when he's out of his depth and being asked to do more than he's able. PRoblem is not the answer. Clearly SJB isn't either (yet).

I really thought he would do well this year after being forced to play so much the year before.

But he has been terrible. Really everyone outside of Lewis have been terrible.

We need a new secondary coach. The one currently in place is terrible.

Yep, and even Lewis has had some bad games.

I agree, everyone has gotten worse. Vaccaro's regression has been highly disappointing.

He was a missile last year and never missed tackles.

Honestly, our players have been in the right place to make plays outside of the Atlanta game.

the golden tate play was just the slowest 70+ yard I've ever seen.

He's a nickel or dime corner and that's it. He should never be in a position where he would cover the 1 or 2 option receiver: see him being dominated by the Lions 2 playing as their 1. Can you imagine if CJ had played Sunday? Good God.

Stafford would have forced it down his throat with Lewis on him. Probably don't get a 70 yard TD.

May have won the game actually
