I've received a trade proposal in my money PPR Dynasty League. Its a 10 team league with each team keeping 13. The guy text me a proposal where I send him J Witten and Steve Smith for CJ Spiller and C Patterson... What does the board think of this offer? I have Martellus Bennett as my other TE, and plenty of WR depth with Marshall, Boldin, J Hunter, and Wheaton.

I would do it.

I think S. Smith will get a high number of targets, but will produce steadily. 10-15pts.

Patterson and Spiller are going to produce 5 points or 25 points.

See that is what I'm torn on. Steve should get lots of looks under Kubiak and being opposite of Torrie while Witten will be Witten. Its 2 consistents for 2 boom/bust guys. Now I would be upgrading to youth, which helps for the future. Also, I would need to grab another TE off the waiver wire. I would most likely grab Pitta or Tiololo.

EDIT - Apparently you do. Getting Patterson for Steve Smith in any league is ridiculous. Infinitely more so in a dynsaty league.

Flacco will not be throwing the ball 62 times every game, Cassel will not be throwing the ball 25 times every game.

Yes, because I'm really not sold on Patterson for fantasy. He gets touches, but is a big time boom or bust guy. He is a freak athlete but I'm not overly sold on his consistency. Plus giving up Witten wouldnt be ideal because I know he is Romos security blanket.

ETA: I grew up in Houston and watched the Texans under Kubiak so I know Steve and Torrie will get lots of targets. I love Spiller because he is a workhorse, but I'm nervous on Patterson really.

Shhhh dont tell my league haha And normally these guys are on this shite like white on rice. Although they are all Aggie fans.

ETA: We have been texting on this so he hasnt sent an official proposal. I am waiting to see if I can grab Pitta, Tiololo, M Lewis, D Allen, or N Paul off of Waivers first so I can cover my resulting TE slot, then make the move, though he has text me twice this morning about it haha.
