OK folks- the Big 10 really took it on the chin Saturday.

In your opinion, what was the most-embarrassing:

1) Michigan loses 31-0 to Notre Dame (my choice)
2) Big 10 "best team" Michigan St. loses 47-27 to Oregon
3) Big 10 "second best team" loses 35-21 to Virginia Tech
4) Nebraska is tied late at home with Div. II McNeese
5) Penn State only up 7-3 n 3rd quarter at home vs. Akron
6) Purdue loses at home to Central Michigan
7) Northwestern loses at home to Northern Illinois
8) Iowa, losing 13-3 at HOME in the 4th quarter to Ball State, has to score 2 td's to win 17-13

So much misery.

Are they out of the picture for the playoffs, as a conference?

If Michigan State would run the table, would they still get in over a 1-loss SEC school for the 4th spot?

Nebraska was the most embarassing IMO. Supposed #19 team in the country needing a last minute touchdown to beat an FCS school AT HOME.

Michigan is #2 but they lost on the road to a good team.

MSU put up a good fight for 3 1/2 quarters in one of the toughest places to play.

OSU is clearly not the same team without Braxton.

It's becoming the trend for them, too. Remember last year when they gave up 600+ yards to Wyoming?! Bo does not know how to win.

Wisconsin's first half was pretty damn embarrassing too.

IMO this weekend alone cements 2 SEC schools getting into the playoff. Let the politicking begin

Has to be this. Brady Hoke should be fired today.

Didn't really cement anything other than pushing the B1G out.

I'm going with Nebraska. I watched the whole game. Either McNeese has the best secondary in the country or Nebraska has no passing attack at all. I'm going with the latter.

Went to the Oregon game, but I wasn't too horribly shocked with MSU, although always don't like losing

While I can't comment on the other games (as I was following on my phone), I was really surprised with the NEB game. Also, Purdue is such a shitshow of a program these days, good lord.

How is this embarrassing? It was at Autzen.

Want to talk about LSU struggles last few years? But PSU won.

Who was in BCS bowl last and Northwestern is not any good

Iowa, see above about PSU and LSU. They won right?

MSU should be at the bottom. They were up nine with like six minutes left in the third quarter and had Mariota dead to rights smothered on third and ten. He escapes, makes a flip for a first down and the whole thing changes. State wins if they make that sack IMO.

I'd say it's Michigan getting blanked like that on a big stage.

Nebraska is right up there, but I think being completely outclassed a "peer" blue blood the way it happened was most embarrassing.

Yeah, MSU played very well for 3ish quarters. Nothing really embarrassing about it.

Michigan was brutal.

Change your screen name or lump yourself in with the embarrassment listings

Yes because they won a championship, and there is weight being placed on that, as should be.

Arkansas who will finish last in their division will beat Northern Illinois by double figures next weekend. Northwestern isn't any good, but they are good enough that they won't be last in that crappy division.

I know a lot of people will say this shouldn't be number 1, but in my opinion it has a pretty good case. It was their last game (for now) in the rivalry. They just got dominated. If you're a Michigan fan, it's got to be a really disappointing loss.

BUT, I choose Nebraska. There is just no excuse.

I live in Cedar Rapids and all the Iowa fans are acting like they just won the national title after their Ball State comeback and saying their QB should be a Heisman Contender

I am not exaggerating

The people in Cedar Falls still think they got robbed by the B1G last weekend.

I did not see the game, but for Nellie to start bitching like he was, I believe him.

Yep. There is no excuse for a program to like Michigan to get destroyed from start to finish by what I consider a mediocre team.
