So, line cutting is probably one of the most universally reprehensible actions people can do... literally everyone, left, right, middle, atheist, agnostic, religiouso, anyone! cannot stand line cutters. It's the most base form of 'unfairness' around.

So, what gives with all the love for the line cutters? Why are we not caring about those left behind in Central America that are going by the book, taking the right steps?

I mean, it's not like we don't have an existing immigration mechanism.

I always thought bullying people into living where you think they should live was a reprehensible action.

There is no "line" you fricking moron.

If being cut in front of by others is the most base form of unfairness you've ever suffered - I would suggest at this moment you fall to your knees and thank your God for how much good fortune He has bestowed onto your life, as you are truly a blessed individual.

Your ilk always responds in the same manner when checkmated. You've confirmed my position.

That's a good way of putting it.

It's a cop out on the part of Washington IMO.

I Ra'd and will continue to unless you begin to use less profanity and personal attacks in your posts.

I truly enjoy reading the opinions of people on the other side of the aisle like Awant, Rex and several others. It is a shame that you choose to state your opinions with such anger and vitriol. You will never win anyone over to your side with such tactics nor will you be taken seriously.

I totally get what you're saying and I honestly don't want any more immigrants in America leaching off the system, making us less English, etc.

But with that said - there is something "American" about bullying your way to get what you want and breaking the rules in the process. It's frankly as American as apple pie.

It's the immigrant's version of "Manifest Destiny" - they only get one life to improve their stock and the stock of their offspring, and they'll be damned if they sit around waiting for it to happen.

I guess my point is that you can't blame the immigrants, you can blame the Republicans and Democrats who haven't done anything to stop it - and the Republicans basically only "want" to stop it when they can use it as a political point to blame Dems.

I see eye-to-eye on your line-cutting point, but I am less concerned with the idea of "fairness" about this than you are. If amnesty works better for the common good, I'm all for it. If throwing them in the back of the line does so, I'm all for it. I also have no idea which would benefit the country more.

Well, amnesty would set another precedent and send another message that we don't care if people sneak into our country

Deportation would send a much different message,

So really what you're saying is, you don't know if illegal immigration itself is good or bad.

If it happens its just more evidence of Obama being way, way too much like Ronald Reagan. LINK
