If the NFL is so concerned about safety why can they wear VSR-4

Brees Brady and many wear a hat no longer made by Riddell. I do not see where they're getting parts for them or whatever.
I was 100% Riddell when I worked at SMS so understand the hat is very good. But after 5 years Riddell will not replace cracks and 10 years they get rid of it during reconditioning.

I think a big part of the concussion issue should be trying to make a better helmet. But people seem more concerned in dealing with the problem opposed to avoiding the problem in the first place

The Revoloutions are better helmets in my opinion especially the speed.
The AHI/Schutt hats are not as good. The new Rawlings I have not seen up close so can not comment, I know Romo wears it.

I saw him wear a Schutt last year but never a revolution. I just am amazed they allow them to wear something not made anymore.
I also think the alternate hat rule nfl made was stupid. It keeps hats "better" condition as 90% of NCAA schools have px and game hats or alternate hats each week.
LSU will use the game hats from this week in px and wear the ones from Wisconsin game Saturday and the next week of px.

it was a couple years ago. he looked weird as frick in it. it was the helmet that peyton wears.
