I know it was Sam Houston St but beating them 56-0 seemed different from similar teams LSU has beat in the last few years. Seems like LSU usually wins these games 35-10, 38-17, 41-14. Not sure if it's the makeup of team, Miles just wanting to grind out after getting up by 3 scores or what. The team last night just seemed different. Like they wanted to beat the crap out of whoever they were playing. Both sides of ball. The youthfulness will probably catch up in a couple games this year, but this team has a factor that was missing last two seasons.

The depth of young talent is unreal...we'll see how this season pans out, but in the next couple seasons this team will be a force.

The college football landscape has changed. Winning every game is still important, but style points matter now also.

Agreed. After the come from behind win last week, this team could've came in not focused knowing they could impose their will on Sam Houston and get a 41-14 type win after a close first half like we've seen before. Was very impressed how they came out and dominated from kickoff. Could've easily scored 70 if the play calling was the same as the 1st half

Insignificant compared to the Arkansas-Nicholls game yesterday!

I can't believe that the Tiger fans will be satisfied with the poor product that has been placed on the field and calls themselves opponents!

What's next "Little Sisters of the Poor"?

What.....maybe attempted 5 passes in the 2nd half. No hurry up tempo. Play calling was night and day
