I have a ipad 2 (64), it has gotten really slow the last few months . It has 2000 pic and lots of apps---does this slow it down? What can I do to fix it? TIA

2000 pics is nothing, and lots of apps shouldn't hurt anything either. Just to be sure, though, go to settings>general>usage and see how much storage space you have available.

Chances are you have a misbehaving app in the background. Does a reboot make it fast for a while? Did the iPad get slow pretty suddenly? Can you think of any apps you installed around that time that may be doing stuff in the background? Do you know how to close background apps?

I have an Ipad 2 also. Mine has been running slow also. I wiped it and restored it but it does not make any difference. Don't know what else to do.
