What is this seed in the doves?

Not the yellow stuff. Guessing thats coming from deer feeders in the area

It kind of looks like browntop millet, but its darker.

Jap millet is dark gray, from what i remember.

Cool google pics. Pigweed at this time of year is that color but 3x times as big as in his pic. Foxtail darkens later in the year, unlike your google pic. Walk through foxtail and try to pick it off your knee highs socks and tell us it isn't black.
For the record these seeds come out of a doves gut after being run through a gizzard enzyme gravel blender. We could both be way off.

I have always found tiny, I mean miniscule, black seeds in doves. Never have figured those out.
