Are they? Looking at the awesome performance of the B1G today, I think you could make the argument.

Purdue losing to Central Michigan
Illinois losing to Western Kentucky
Nebraska struggling vs McNeese St
Penn St struggling vs Akron
Wisconsin struggling vs Western Illinois

GEEEEEZ my lord!!

The league in general sucks because you have so many bad programs and then add 2 bad programs because of TV markets, which I get, but it is bad football

These noon games just do this conference no favors in my opinion. No energy in the stadium. Very dull atmosphere. I think it helps these teams come into this average B1G schools and compete. Frustrating to watch for sure.

Also, saying Rutgers is the 3rd best team isn't that crazy right now. They have looked dam good in their first 2 games. Its not just because these other teams are playing poorly, but because Rutgers looks impressive.

As a PSU homer, I started with states game this morning - and thought after their win over a scrappy UCF team in Ireland - that PSU might be a legit Top 25 team with Hackenberg this year.

But damn, Akron looks faster than them and Hack has been way off all day.

Akron has had good drives in the redzone but just couldn't get it into the endzone. Their secondary is making Hack look bad.

Big Ten football is meant to be played at noon. Get off my lawn.

Both my parents went to Penn St so I grew up a Nittany Lions fan and I follow the Big 10 closely.

Outside of Mich St, who is really good with a great coach, you have a decent OSU team and a bunch of average and bad teams, PSU certainly included.

Half time scores mean jack shite. No dominating performances but wait for the 2nd half to progress before being all dooms day.

This statement proves my point. The fact that you are saying "wait for the 2nd half to progress" against Western Kentucky says enough. Its pathetic that these teams are in the game at half...let alone winning.

Rutgers won't even finish better than third in their half of the division.

Michigan better than them.

You don't know that, we will see where they finish. I will give you Michigan though.

It's the second week of a 3 month season. Wisconsin and Nebraska are better than them as well. They're probably the same tier as Minnesota and Iowa at Best.

WKY just took the lead on about a 90 yard fumble return TD. Now they're kicking a FG after an INT.

to be fair to Nebraksa, they were a Pick six away from 28-7 being 21-14.

They haven't gone out there and beaten the crap out of their opponent in the 2nd half though, so no real excuses

Yep.

Nebraska hasn't been as bad as the score.

When it was 21-14...Nebraska had over 350 yards of offense and MCNS had 101.
