Is Gameday really about to re-use a Make A Wish story?

After the break, they are showing the story of the Michigan football fan who got to visit the team. It was a make a wish story a few months ago. Great story but come on, Gameday.

Do better than that. Find your own story.

GameDay loves some kids with cancer stories. I get all pumped of a day of football and Rinaldi shows up to remind me about the shitty things in life.

Next year Tom Rinaldi is just going to go door to door kicking people in the nuts.

EVERY
frickING
WEEK

there are like 4-5 of these heart warming stories pumped on various ESPN shows during the week.

I'm fatigued. It loses its value and importance when they CONSTANTLY pump these stories

Game day is such garbage. Really don't understand why another network just doesnt just start broadcasting 10AM games

I don't watch ESPN much other than Games and College Gameday, honestly. But I see what you are saying.

I think they show this segment for the women who are forced to watch this show in the morning with their significant other

I remember when they occasionally featured these heart warming stories of triumph. Maybe a couple over the course of the season.

They were pretty powerful, they were different. They highlighted different types of people with different problems. It put things in perspective.

Now it's become "another segment" of Gameday and other shows. Which means they basically go out and drum up as many of these "stories" as they can.

It's like bad reality TV. Seriously, there are cameras in this 25 year old dudes house and he's "surprised" to get a random letter from Michigan and Jake Long shows up?

If Tom Rinaldi ever shows up at your front door, then you know that you have an inoperable brain tumor or the Ebola virus.

i juat dont like when they do these heartbreaking stories (gotta find a way to get the female demographic) and they dont evenput up some sort of information on where someone could donate towards whatever cancer or whatever it is

and when they do it, they need to head to commercial break afterwards. watching chris fowler try and awkwardly try to change the subject back to ohio state is just painful and makes them come off bad
