And fresh Windows. I unplugged my HDD when I did. It's my understanding that now if I hook the HDD back up it will be like the slave. Now how do I get things from there to the SSD? I would like to leave my games, pics, stuff on the HDD because it is bigger, but can I still access them if I am on windows on the SSD? I am new to this so I may have it wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Games will need to be reinstalled. You can still install them to your hard drive, but they won't run as they are now from the OS on the SSD because they are tied to the registry of your other windows installation. Ideally, what you need to do now is back up all of your non-program files to another device (pics, documents, videos, music), reformat the hard drive, then move them back.

Back up files and read this: LINK

Desktop. So once I wipe into font reinstall windows, I just make folders and tell my windows on SSD to find the folders on HDD?
How do I handle steam games?
Say I want to install Dragon Age, do I do it on HDD and just access it from SSD?

Wherever you want to install them. I have some games on my SSD and some on hard drives. Steam will ask you where to install the game (either on C: or you can tell it to create a steam library on another drive).

On Origin, you have to do it manually.

Some games might work if you just get the shortcut. Some games are self-contained and don't frick with the disaster that is the Windows registry. I know a long time ago, you could just copy your WoW directory and everything including mods would work.
