This shite enrages me.

1) The dude was jumped by 3 bama fans with his pregnant wife near.

2) One of the gumps pulled a knife on Cage during the fight. Is that not considered self defense?

3) Does anyone think a decorated war hero would be railroaded by any southern state?

shite is fricking beyond bullshite IMO

Something about his military training making him a lethal weapon and using excessive force against the drunk pricks that attacked

I dunno. I've never really liked it all that much and thought it was a huge step down from The Rock.

He did 8 years on a 10 year sentence, not bad for killing a man

One of the guys picked up the knife before he ran off. It's shown in the movie.

Judge said with his training that he was a deadly weapon and should have shown restraint .

It was a BS conviction and wouldn't have stood on appeal. Hollywood fiction

Yeah! That one detail ruins an otherwise impeccably realistic film.

Define irony.People dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.

Because the rest of the movie was so realistic that you're looking for plot holes.

He entered a plea. Judge added few years because she was a bitch.

I don't think even California in it's most Liberal County would of given him time.

3 on 1 and also one has a weapon.

"Well I'm sorry judge, that I didn't let my wife get raped by three guys and possibly killed just because I served my country"

Yes that premise did suck.

Or.. Cage wouldn't of been on the plane, and instead we would of had a movie about the biggest air heist since DB Cooper.

Think about it, just the plan itself vs Cusack could of been a movie.

To quote Vincent LaGuardia Gambini...

You're in Ala-fricking-Bama.
You killed a good ole boy...
