Believe he was moved to guard this season after working as a center last season. Might need another year before he starts getting PT

I'll say this, I saw a pic of him in the weight room, and he was the most cut OL I have ever seen.
Does not mean he is very good or will play this year, but he looked good. He is a bit light for an OL, but he is not far off from Hunter look wise and 50lbs heavier.

Doubtful he'll ever start for LSU unless injuries.

He'll serve as useful depth ala Washington.

well we need a center next year and I would prefer one in the 6'3-6'4 range.

I have always said that Karl Malone could have been a Hall of Fame'er as a TE in the NFL. That dude had catcher's mitts for hands and could seriously run all week long for a such a huge fellow.

Should I call Coach Cam up and light a fire under his arse or what? Lining junior up as eligable coulde end up getting an O lineman to block for a scrambling Harris or Jennings whether or not he ever catches a ball!

I'm such an awesome fan/coach!!

Center seemed like a more natural position for him and one where he could possibly get on the field earlier. Also it's to early to say he will just be usefull depth at LSU. Could really develop and wind up a starter and NFL player. OL's are harder to project than other positions. Seems like some OL's just blow up into top level players. Hopefully he got a redshirt year in.

not saying this wouldnt potentially be great move - but i do feel LSU has way too many TE's on roster (and this has been case for a while). hell, the espn commentator for wisconsin game even said "...one of LSU's 17,000 tight ends..."
