Who would have thought? They let a player have a 20 minute medical time (cramps) out inside the locker room, while Wozniak her opponent, stood idly on the court and then let her return to play with no penalty. JM was furious.

The player finally threw in the towel, but the point was she should never have been allowed to return to play.

John Mcenroe has been the voice of reason in tennis pretty much since he retired. More than that, he's like the sport's unofficial official press representative: he speaks *for* tennis.

He's earned this by being both outspoken and smart.

John McEnroe has a temper but he knows his fricking tennis. One of my favorite commentators for the sport.

Without question.

The evolution of John Mcenroe has been fantastic. It's hard to dislike the guy at this point.

It's insane that Wozniak would not be allowed to go to the locker room, too. That is, if you allow the injured player to do it in the first place. Seems like an odd thing for big time tennis to screw up.

I have been following him since the late 70's... The Match against Borg at Wimbldon is an ALL-TIME great match!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favorite in any sport. He says what's on his mind. I wish there were more like him in other sports.

Patrick M is not bad either.

Soccer is another one where they call it like it is.

McEnroe is like Bob Knight without the senility. Tempermental guys when it comes to their own games but very fair when it comes to analyzing other players when they are detached.

JM is my favorite, but I feel like tennis commentators are the best of any of the sports.

I'd love for Andy Roddick to get in to it. He and JM in a booth would be golden.
