Clarity on large lenses in Tiger Stadium

According to this, I can bring in my 70-200 lens (about 14 inches long).

They stopped me last year

As far as I know you have not been able to bring in large lenses for a long time.

According to that, they'll prevent idiots from bringing in faux lawn chairs that double as stadiums seats...but inevitably some jackass smashes into me trying to lug that shite into the row.

Also, I still enjoy the 2 dimensional measurement (8 1/2 x 11) for a 2 dimensional object (a bag.)
