Last week it was Bama, FSU and Ohio State. This week I see a couple that could happen:

East Carolina v South Carolina - This is the same ECU team that beat the crap out of UNC last year in Chapel Hill, and they run a very similar offense to Texas A&M (minus 5* WRs throughout the roster). If Spurrier tries some more of that Fun-N-Gun shotgun shite with Thompson like he did last week instead of pounding it with Davis, Wilds and that OL, they'll absolutely lose.

Ohio State v Virginia Tech - VT now has some offensive life with their new QB, and they also have the best CB duo in the nation. Didn't see much from OSU last week to convince me that Miller wasn't a huge loss, but Meyer's record at OSU at home is spotless so they'll probably pull it out.

San Diego State v UNC - People are gonna find out real quick just how good SDDU's defense is when they cause Fedora all kinds of headaches. Hopefully he just pounds away with Elijah Hood 30 times in this game, because if not they could have another upset this year to go with ECU last year.

Any others? I think Arizona could get a closer game than they expected tonight. I don't think Houston expected to get their brains beat-in by San Antonio last week, pretty impressive.

USCe didn't lose b/c their offense was bad.

They lost b/c their D was eaten alive.

It's both. When your D sucks and you have arguably your best OL in your program's history and the deepest stable of RBs you'll ever have, you don't come out in shotgun and try to turn Dylan Thompson into Danny Wuerffel. You pound the ball, shorten the game and insulate your defense. Hell South Carolina also has good TEs. It's called power I and then play action Spurrier.

I could see that happening, watched a little of the Ga Tech/Woffard game last week it & was 5 point game late in the 4th.

Looks like we bailed Zona needing to be on upset alert. Roadrunners weren't able to pull it out, but that was an awesome game.

It'll be interesting to see how the others turnout.
