I played on the RU version.. and it's the best MMO I've played since Burning Crusade WoW.. and it was easily the best.

I've been playing on the Alpha server but decided to stopped playing a few weeks ago sense they are going to wipe the server on launch.

Alpha and beta buyers could and there was several days outage of early release, maybe trying to make it up to buyers

Every MMORPG game launch is plagued with problems so I expected some issues. But for the game to have issues during head start was in my opinion ridiculous!
Whats the point of head start if you cant even get in the game!
Aside from that, this game is amazing. One of the best mmorpg games I've ever played (aside from Ultima Online).
If anybody has any questions I'll try my best to answer.

What makes it so great? I played for a few hours in the open beta, and it seemed mostly the same as every other World of Warcraft clone. Obviously I didn't get deep into the game, but why should I give it a shot?

The amount of things you can do is unlike any other game, and lets not forget the skill system.
You are not tied down to play a predetermined build or class. You can mix and match and if you don't like something, you can change it out at anytime (as long as you find a skill manager) and you can always come back and pickup where you left off. There are 250 different build combinations!
How good you are at PVP or PVE is determined by how well you can make the different skills work together.

The different builds is really what gets me hard about this game. I want to be a knight sorcerer druid, done!

yep, and it's not looking good for launch day, their website is down right now.
I know they were getting DDOS attacks, don't know if those are still going one.
